Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Cancel anytime

Paid plans are prepaid for 30 days (monthly) or 365 days (yearly) and do not renew automatically, so there is nothing to switch off and you will never be charged again unless you choose to pay.

To cancel, simply do not renew. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for and then moves to the Free plan. Your notes, Research Lab and saved items stay in your account.

If you would like your account closed immediately, use Settings → Delete my account, or contact us using the details below.

2. No refunds

Because access to the digital service starts immediately after payment, all payments are final. We do not offer refunds or pro-rated credits for unused days, partial months, unused AI limits, or for switching between plans.

3. Exceptions — failed or duplicate payments

• If money was debited but your plan was not activated, or you were charged twice for the same order, contact us within 7 days with the payment reference.
• After verification we will either activate the plan or refund the extra amount to the original payment method.
• Approved refunds are initiated within 5–7 business days; the time for the amount to reach your account depends on your bank or payment provider.

4. Free trial

The 7-day Advocate trial is free, needs no payment details and ends automatically. No charge is made when it ends.

5. Campus licences

Cancellations and refunds for campus licences purchased by an institution follow the agreement made with that institution.
