Terms of Service

Effective 31 October 2026

These terms govern your use of Legal Intelligence & Research Radar (LIRR), an online legal research and learning service operated by Ranjit Durgude, Prabhukunj, Birdevnagar Jadhavwadi, Tal. Phaltan, Dist. Satara, Maharashtra 415523, India. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.

1. The service

LIRR collects publicly available legal news and official legal documents, groups duplicate reporting, and uses artificial intelligence to produce study material such as summaries, Legal Student Relevance Index (LSRI) scores, Research Opportunity Scores (ROS), research ideas, digests and moot practice.

LIRR is an educational and research aid. It is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice and does not create a lawyer–client relationship.

2. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old, or use LIRR with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian.
  • Give accurate details when you register and keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
  • Tell us promptly at the contact details below if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

3. Plans, prices and payment

LIRR offers a Free plan and paid Scholar, Advocate and Chambers plans. Current prices are shown on the Plans & Pricing page in Indian Rupees (for example Scholar ₹99/month or ₹990/year, Advocate ₹249/month or ₹2,490/year, Chambers ₹499/month or ₹4,990/year). Any applicable taxes are shown at checkout.

Each payment prepays access for 30 days (monthly) or 365 days (yearly). Plans do not renew automatically; you choose whether to pay again. Renewing the same plan adds time to your current period; switching plans starts the new plan immediately.

Payments are processed by our payment gateway partner (Razorpay). We do not store your card, UPI or bank details.

New accounts may receive a free 7-day Advocate trial. No payment is taken for the trial and it ends automatically.

Campus licences arranged with an institution are governed by the terms agreed with that institution, in addition to these terms.

4. Fair use and limits

Each plan has hourly limits on AI actions (for example report analyses, voice answers and searches by meaning), shown on the Plans & Pricing page. These limits keep the service reliable for everyone and may be adjusted with notice on that page.

5. AI-generated content and accuracy

  • Analysis, scores, summaries and research ideas are generated by AI and may contain errors or omissions. Always read the original judgment, statute or official document before relying on any statement.
  • Scores marked “provisional” and research gaps that are not “validated” have not been fully checked against available literature.
  • Do not use LIRR output as a substitute for advice from a qualified advocate, or submit it as your own work where your institution's academic integrity rules forbid it.

6. Third-party sources

LIRR links to and summarises material published by courts, legislatures, government bodies, news publishers and academic databases. That material belongs to its respective owners. We use official feeds and permitted access only, and do not bypass paywalls, logins or access restrictions. Your use of third-party websites is subject to their own terms.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of the notes, research ideas, uploaded documents, submitted links and voice recordings you add to LIRR. You give us permission to store and process that content only to provide the service to you (including AI processing).

You must have the right to upload any document you submit, and must not upload anything unlawful, confidential to a third party, or infringing.

8. Acceptable use

  • Do not attempt to access other users' data, probe or disrupt the service, or bypass plan limits.
  • Do not scrape, resell or redistribute LIRR content or reports in bulk.
  • Do not use LIRR for any unlawful purpose or to harass, defame or mislead others.

9. Intellectual property

The LIRR name, design, software and original compilations are owned by the operator. You may use reports and digests for your personal study and research, with appropriate attribution of the original sources.

10. Availability, suspension and termination

We aim to keep LIRR available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service; collection from external sources can fail or be delayed. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms. You may stop using LIRR or delete your account from Settings at any time; deleting an account does not refund any remaining paid period.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, LIRR is provided “as is” and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions taken on the basis of AI-generated content. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top of this page will change, and significant changes will be announced in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
